What Data We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you use Ritual Hours:
Account information

- ●Password (stored securely, never in plain text)
Habit and wellness activity data
- ●Which morning habits you select (Meditation, Affirmations, Journaling, Exercise, Reading, Visualization)
- ●Duration of each activity session (e.g. meditation length, reading timer)
- ●Journal entries you write within the app
- ●Number of journal entries logged
- ●Completion status of daily habits
- ●Streak data and habit history
Usage and analytics data
- ●In-app analytics such as streak counts, activity frequency, and session durations
- ●This data is used solely to power your personal Progress dashboard within the app
What we do NOT collect: We do not collect health data from Apple HealthKit at this stage. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking tools.
How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect to:
- ●Provide, operate, and maintain the Ritual Hours app
- ●Display your personal habit history, streaks, and progress analytics
- ●Save your journal entries and wellness activity logs
- ●Improve the app based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns
- ●Communicate with you about your account if needed
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on our platform infrastructure. All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit). We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
Your journal entries and personal wellness data are private to your account and are not visible to other users.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Children's Privacy
Ritual Hours is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you within the app where required. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
